Market Share of Postini Customers Nearly Doubles
in Poll of Law IT Chiefs: REDWOOD CITY, CA,
October 12, 2004 — Postini, the leading provider of email security
and management for the enterprise, today announced that it
ranked as the leading antispam solution in a survey of IT
executives at top law firms. In an annual poll conducted
by American Lawyer Media’s AmLaw Tech magazine, 36
percent of companies use Postini to block spam, nearly doubling
Postini’s market share since last year. More survey
respondents use Postini than the next five ranking vendor
solutions combined.
Postini’s
managed service is identified in the follow-on report by
AmLaw Tech as “running away with the antispam space”.
The survey, which examines top technology trends, issues,
and vendors for the legal arena, takes the pulse of IT executives
in a special report entitled “The American Lawyer’s
Technology Supplement.”
“The
findings of the poll are consistent with the growth and penetration
we’ve experienced within the law and professional services
industries, along with other major vertical markets,” said

and network security are of paramount importance to the legal
